There are total number of vacancies are available in this notice are 246 post in which posts 135 posts for Unreserved category, 54 post for SC, 15 posts of ST, 25 for BC-A, and 17 posts for BC-B. The posts code is 027 which known as Assistant Sub-Inspector of Excise.
West Bengal Excise Department Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 27 years and lower age limit is 18 years as on 01 January 2013. In this notification of WB Excise you get age relaxation as per Govt Rule of Category.
Education Qualification: Minimum Educational Qualifications is passed in Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent.
Minimum Physical Measurements: All candidates’ height should be 167 cm while Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbansis and Scheduled Tribes height should be 160 cm.

Application Fee: All categories except Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe need to make payment of Rs. 220/-.
