The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited application for recruitment to the post of Assistants in Clerical Cadre. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply for the same before June 14, 2014.

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Assistants in clerical cadre in State Bank of India.Candidates can apply for vacancies in one state only and will have to appear for the test from an examination centre for that particular state. Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project.

Name of post: Assistants in Clerical Cadre
Number of post: 5092 posts
Total vacancies for PWD and Ex-Serviceman: 890 posts
Backlog vacancy for PWD: 201 posts
Special recruitment drive for assistants in Kashmir Valley/Ladakh vacancies: 125 posts
Eligibility criteria:
The candidate should possess a graduation degree from a recognised university. Those candidates who are in their final year of graduation/semester can also apply on provisional basis.
Application fee:
The applicants belonging to the general and OBC category have to pay an application fee of Rs 450 (Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD/XS candidates). The payment of fee has to be done online. No other means/mode of payment will be accepted.

Interested and eligible candidates are required to register themselves on the bank’s official website: www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in.
Once the candidates have registered online, they are required tp make the application fee payment.
