Kalimpong police have arrested Prem Pradhan

According to sources the Kumar Rai’s son Kiran had married Prem Pradhan’s wife and Prem was not too happy about it.

Police have said that Prem entered Kumar’s house at around 10:30 P.M on the night of 18th October and hacked Kumar and also attacked his wife Aitimaya Rai.

On finding about the attack, Kumar’s family immediately took him and his wife to Malbazar hospital where from they were referred to a nursing home in Siliguri, but he could not be saved.

Apparently Prem Pradhan (21 years old) who is originally from Rungdung Busty had married a woman only 6 months ago, but within 15 to 20 days his newly married wife had run away with another youth Kiran Rai (Kumar’s son).

What is shocking and astounding is the fact that when Prem decided to run away with his wife, he had taken Kiran as his ally/friend.

But within 15-20 days Prem’s wife ran away with Kiran.

Sources said that Prem waited for around 6 months, and on the night of 18th he entered Kiran’s house, but both Kiran and his wife were not home, so Prem hacked Kiran’s dad Kumar and mom – Aitimaya instead, while Kumar is now dead, Aitimaya is still in critical condition.
