Sunil Chhetri, not surprisingly, is on top of the charts with a base price of Rs 80 lakh and looks to be the best-paid Indian footballer after being guaranteed Rs 1.55 crore for the second edition of ISL (Indian Super League). Even if Chhetri fetches only his base price at the auction, the India striker will pick up what he has signed up for, with Bengaluru FC agreeing to pay him an additional Rs 75 lakh as his loan fee.

The player auction for the second edition of the Indian Super League will be held on July 10 in in Mumbai.The Indian Super League (ISL) has finalized the ten players that will be up for grabs at the first ever auction of Indian footballers.
