| Recruitment to the post of Constables (Male) in West Bengal Police |
ELIGIBILITY:-
(a) Must be a Citizen of India.
(b) AGE: – The candidates must not be less than 18 years and not more than 27 years as on 01/01/2015. The Upper-age limit may be relaxed for the SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal only by 05 years and OBC candidates of West Bengal only by 03 years. The upper age limit is also relaxable for the Ex-servicemen and Home Guards serving in West Bengal Police only as per existing Government Rules.
Educational Qualification
Madhyamik or equivalent examination. The candidate must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from any other Board recognized by the State Government or the Central Government.
Pay scale Rs.5,400 – Rs.25,200 (Pay Band-2) + Grade Pay Rs.2,600.

The application window for submission of application forms through on-line will remain operative for the period from 03/08/2015 to 04/09/2015.
Off-line forms can also be downloaded during the above duration
The last date for receipt of filled in Application Forms through Postal Services(off-line) is 04/09/2015 (upto 05:00 PM).
However, submission of on-line forms under the UBI Challan Payment Mode remains open till 09/09/2015 (5:00 PM) due to technical reasons.
